Do you plan on just collecting as many games for each system as possible or is there a plan to acquire certain landmark/important games for each platform?
How do you actually plan to catalog the games and the systems in question? By hardware upon which the game is played and then genre? I would actually really like to know.
@Kyle: right now I'm taking donations of pretty much anything that's offered. As the collection matures, I'll probably be a bit more selective.
I do have a portion of the budget devoted to acquiring old games, so when I start spending on that I'll be targeting landmark/important games for purchase.
